Spirituality between the nature of the Park. Located at a height of 1100 meters is the Camaldoli Sacred Hermitage, a place of art and faith. The Sanctuary of La Verna is in the southern part of Mount Penna, the most famous of the Casentino monasteries and one of the most significant places linked with St. Francis of Assisi. Destination of numerous pilgrims - it hosts several chapels and places of prayer and meditation, as well as several places of considerable religious importance.
There are ample opportunities to discover Casentino by Ebike, for example, the Arno cycle path, Foreste Casentinesi National Park, Pratomagno Mountain or hilly tours to discover medieval villages and traditional flavours.

Casentino is an anthology of characteristic villages. The valley is rich in medieval hamlets. Poppi with its castle is one of the "best bourg of Itlay". Do not miss the fantastic town centre of Bibbiena, Raggiolo, Stia, Cortona and Anghiari.
Do not miss the fantastic castles and churches. Poppi Castle with the exceptional position is dominant on the beautiful surrounding rolling hills. Very close to Casa Zeli you can visit the medieval castle of Strada. Also Porciano and Gressa Castles, the Romanesque church of Romena just few chilometres far from the house.
From Casentino Valley you can easlily reach art cities like Arezzo, Firenze, Siena, Lucca and Pisa
